We have practice on Tuesday at 6pm, Thursday at 5pm, for now, and weekends which are optional at The Gate on Perry Street. Feel free to come bowl with us. Our meetings are in the UC at 11am to 12pm on Thursday in room 216
The Bowling Club is a group created for those who wish to bowl at a competitive level against other colleges in the Midwest and for other who just want to get together and bowl for fun with other Ferris students. For those who wish to compete; we are not a varsity sport, but the level of competition is very high so dedication and commitment will be expected. Either way, joining the BOWLDOGS is a fun way to start or to continue bowling and enhance your college experience.
All students are welcome to join for the fun of bowling. Those wishing to compete collegiately may request that their averages and weekly participation be considered for the line-up of upcoming tournament entries.
If you join for the fun, you will have fun. If you join to compete, there is always friendly competition, and you will have the opportunity compete in collegiate tournament line-ups.
We hold various fundraisers throughout the semester that go towards team expenses and other organizations in the Big Rapids community. We place great importance on volunteering together as a team and help out the Big Rapids community through monthly volunteering at the Salvation Army, through the Special Olympics, and other volunteer events hosted by Ferris.
