- Description: Adventure racing is a multi-discipline endurance sport that typically incorporates mountain biking, paddling, and orienteering. Many races also include other types of out-of-doors activities such as climbing/rappelling and other ropes disciplines as well as other outdoors events depending on the season and location. Teams consist of 1-4 persons, depending on the event. Usually teams of greater than 2 must be co-ed.
